This attachment chain consists of a special UHMW roller installed between two identical strands of # 60 riveted chain. Our customer used to manufacture this chain which consumed a tremendous amount of labor time. They were also unhappy with the performance of their chain because they had to use segmented UHMW rollers due to the limited capabilities of their manufacturing process.

Power Torque was invited to analyze the situation. We were able to design a chain using solid UHMW rollers which has increased the life and decreased the noise of the chain. We were also able to quote this special chain within 2 days of our initial visit which met our customer's deadline. Our customer was able to save a substantial amount of money, obtain a longer product life, and free the time of two of their personnel that was previously required to assemble the chain.

From start to finish, the new solid roller chain was delivered to our customer in less than 4 weeks.
